Granola Adds MCP Integration With v0 to Build Apps From Meeting Notes

Granola launched integration with v0 by Vercel, turning meeting notes into a data source for rapid application development. The integration uses Model Context Protocol to pipe conversation context directly into v0's interface, where developers can describe what they want and let the AI builder generate working code from real user feedback, team discussions, or sales calls.

The move extends Granola's recent push into MCP connectivity. The company announced its MCP connector in February, enabling meeting notes to flow into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other AI tools. The v0 integration marks a shift from chat-based assistants to full application generation, letting developers build interfaces informed by the actual words customers and teammates used.

From Notes to Working Code

Granola captures and structures meeting transcripts, turning conversations into searchable, query-able context. With the v0 connector active, developers can reference specific meetings, pull direct quotes, or synthesize themes across multiple calls without leaving the v0 environment. A product manager might describe a dashboard layout, and v0 builds it using feature requests captured in last week's user interviews. A founder can prototype a landing page based on language from sales demos.

The workflow mirrors Granola's recent integrations with Bolt.new and Magic Patterns, which let teams iterate on websites and design mockups using meeting feedback. The v0 connector adds more flexibility, generating React components and full applications rather than static designs or content updates.

Model Context Protocol Drives the Connection

MCP, introduced by Anthropic, standardizes how AI systems access external data sources. Instead of copying and pasting meeting notes into prompts, developers install the Granola MCP connector once and grant v0 permission to query their note library. The protocol handles authentication, formats responses, and keeps context current as new meetings are recorded.

Granola has leaned hard into MCP since launching its connector two months ago. The company also added MCP support for Manus AI and Runlayer, positioning meeting notes as infrastructure rather than static documents.

The v0 integration could appeal to product teams moving fast on customer feedback. Instead of manually tracking feature requests in spreadsheets or project management tools, teams can point v0 at Granola's notes and prototype solutions in minutes. Sales teams might use it to generate demo environments that mirror prospect needs, while designers could build prototypes grounded in actual user language.

Granola raised a $125 million Series C in March to expand its meeting context platform. The company has added Microsoft sign-in, iPhone camera capture for whiteboards, and a redesigned interface in recent months. The v0 integration continues the pattern of turning passive notes into active inputs for creative and technical work.
