Granola Launches MCP Connector for Manus AI to Enable Context-Aware Workflows

Granola has released an MCP Connector that integrates its AI-powered meeting notes with Manus AI, enabling developers and knowledge workers to build applications and workflows with full conversational context from past meetings.

The connector, announced on LinkedIn, leverages the Model Context Protocol to make meeting transcripts and notes accessible to AI tools. Users can now reference past conversations, decisions, and context when working in Manus AI, eliminating the need to manually search through notes or repeat information.

Building on MCP Infrastructure

This release follows Granola's broader MCP strategy, previously launched to connect meeting notes with tools like Bolt, Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. The Model Context Protocol, developed by Anthropic, allows applications to share context across different AI platforms without custom integrations for each tool.

Granola first introduced its MCP connector in February 2025, as detailed in their official blog post. The protocol works by exposing meeting notes as a structured data source that AI assistants can query in real-time, providing relevant context based on the task at hand.

The Manus AI integration specifically targets users who build applications and automate workflows. By pulling in conversation history, the connector helps Manus AI understand project requirements, stakeholder feedback, and technical decisions that were discussed in meetings, rather than working from a blank slate.

Context-Aware Development

For teams using both Granola and Manus AI, the connector means AI-generated code, workflows, and content can reflect actual business conversations. A product manager could reference a client call when asking Manus AI to draft requirements. A developer could point to technical discussions when generating code that needs to align with architectural decisions made in standup meetings.

The integration also supports Granola's recent push into team collaboration features. Following their $125M Series C funding round, the company introduced Team Spaces for shared meeting notes and an API for connecting notes with external tools.

Granola has also expanded MCP support to Replit, enabling similar context-aware development workflows in that platform. The company appears focused on making meeting notes a persistent context layer across the development stack, rather than siloed documents.

The Manus AI connector is available now to Granola users. Setup requires enabling the MCP integration in Granola's settings and authorizing access from Manus AI, following the same pattern as other MCP-enabled tools in Granola's ecosystem.
