Kajabi released a Unified Media Library that consolidates images, videos, and documents into a single organized hub. The update addresses a persistent pain point for online course creators: repeatedly uploading the same assets across different pages because they can't quickly locate existing files.
The new library includes tagging, custom views, and a media picker that lets users drop existing files anywhere in their site without re-uploading. Kajabi also integrated Adobe Express directly into the platform, allowing users to edit and resize assets without leaving the application.
Video Analytics by Placement
The most notable addition is per-placement video analytics. Course creators can now see how the same video performs across different contexts, such as a sales page versus a course welcome page versus a blog post. According to Kajabi's LinkedIn announcement, most creators are unaware their videos perform differently depending on placement.
This granular tracking should help users optimize video placement and content strategy. If an intro video converts well on a sales page but sees high drop-off rates on a course welcome page, creators now have the data to act on that insight.
The feature arrives as Kajabi continues expanding its platform capabilities. The company recently introduced Cofounder AI to generate context-aware business content and launched four community management updates for better channel control.
Competing With Dedicated Asset Managers
The Unified Media Library puts Kajabi in closer competition with platforms like Airtable and Notion, which many creators use as external asset databases. By consolidating this functionality natively, Kajabi reduces the need for separate tools in a creator's workflow.
The Adobe Express integration is particularly relevant. Creators often toggle between Canva or Figma for quick edits, then upload revised files to their course platform. Handling resizing and basic editing inside Kajabi eliminates that context switch.
The update is available now for all Kajabi users. No pricing changes were announced; the feature appears to be included in existing plans. Kajabi has not disclosed whether the per-placement analytics will extend to other asset types beyond video in future updates.
