Kajabi has removed a longstanding constraint on its checkout system. Creators can now add multiple order bumps to a single checkout page, removing the previous limit of one order bump per transaction.
The change went live today and applies to one-time offers. It allows course creators, coaches, and digital product sellers to present several add-on offers at the point of purchase without altering their funnel or driving new traffic.
The Economics of Order Bumps
Order bumps are small, relevant add-ons presented at checkout, typically as a checkbox customers can select before completing their purchase. The conversion mechanic is simple: a customer who has already decided to buy is statistically more likely to add a complementary offer for a small additional cost.
Kajabi's announcement framed the financial impact plainly. If 100 orders per month each add $34 through order bumps, the annual lift is $40,800. The math scales with volume, and the feature requires no additional marketing spend or funnel complexity.
Until this update, Kajabi supported only one order bump per checkout. Creators who wanted to test multiple offers had to choose which single product to feature, or build separate checkout pages. The new functionality removes that trade-off.
What Changes for Creators
The checkout experience itself remains the same for customers. The interface still presents order bumps as optional add-ons during the purchase flow. The difference is backend flexibility: creators can now configure several order bumps within the same checkout, each targeting a different customer need or price point.
This stacking capability is common in e-commerce platforms but has been absent from Kajabi's checkout until now. Competitors in the online course and membership space, including platforms like Gumroad and Stripe-powered storefronts, have offered multi-bump configurations for some time.
Kajabi confirmed the feature is available now for one-time offers. The company did not specify whether subscription products or payment plans will receive the same treatment in future updates.
Context Within Kajabi's Product Roadmap
The order bump expansion fits within a broader pattern of commerce-focused updates from Kajabi. Earlier this year, the company launched Backstage, a private client portal for high-touch coaching, and introduced Expert Agents, AI-powered sales and support assistants. Both products aimed to increase conversion rates and reduce manual work for creators.
Multiple order bumps serve a similar goal: extracting more value from existing traffic. For creators already driving consistent checkout volume, the feature offers a straightforward way to test pricing tiers, bundle strategies, and cross-sell complementary products without restructuring their sales process.
The update also reflects a competitive push. As all-in-one creator platforms converge on similar core features, differentiation increasingly happens at the margins: checkout optimization, automation depth, and revenue-per-customer metrics. Kajabi's move brings its checkout capabilities closer to parity with dedicated e-commerce tools, while keeping everything inside a single platform.
Creators using Kajabi can access the feature immediately. The company has not announced a separate rollout for recurring offers or indicated whether order bump limits will return in other contexts.
