Granola Integrates Meeting Notes With Replit for Context-Aware App Building

Granola has announced on LinkedIn a new integration with Replit that lets users build applications with their meeting notes as context. The AI notepad, designed for professionals in back-to-back meetings, now feeds captured meeting content directly into Replit's development environment.

The integration addresses a common workflow gap for developers and product teams who need to turn meeting discussions into working prototypes. Instead of manually copying context from meeting notes into a separate coding environment, users can now reference their Granola notes while building in Replit.

Granola's example use case is building a journal based on meeting notes, but the capability extends to any application where meeting context informs development. A product manager could draft user stories in Replit while referencing customer feedback captured in Granola. A technical lead could prototype API endpoints based on architecture discussions from earlier meetings.

How Meeting Notes as Context Works

The feature likely builds on Granola's existing infrastructure for making meeting data programmatically accessible. The company launched an API last year to connect notes with external tools and AI agents, and introduced Granola MCP in February to surface meeting context in Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.

The Replit integration appears to follow this pattern: meeting notes become a queryable context layer that development tools can reference. For teams already using Granola to capture and organize meeting content, this removes friction from the notes-to-code workflow.

Granola has been expanding beyond pure note-taking into what the company calls putting "your company's context to work." Following their $125M Series C in March, the company launched Team Spaces to make meeting knowledge searchable across organizations. The Replit integration extends that philosophy into the development workflow.

Competing in a Crowded Integration Space

Meeting tools have been racing to integrate with AI coding assistants. The bet is that meeting context, which traditionally lives in disconnected notes or memory, becomes more valuable when surfaced at the point of creation.

For Granola, the challenge is demonstrating that their meeting notes are structured and accurate enough to be useful context for code generation. Generic transcripts often lack the signal-to-noise ratio needed for technical work. Granola's approach of combining AI-generated notes with user editing may give it an advantage, since users can refine context before it feeds into downstream tools.

The LinkedIn post positions this as an early integration, suggesting more meeting-notes-to-development workflows may follow. For now, teams using both Granola and Replit have a new option for carrying meeting discussions directly into prototyping and development.
