Granola has launched an integration with Poke, the messaging-based AI assistant from The Interaction Company of California. The connection lets users convert meeting notes into follow-up emails or other deliverables by texting Poke directly, without switching apps or copying information between tools.
The workflow is straightforward. After a meeting wraps, Granola generates notes as usual. Users can then text Poke to turn those notes into a follow-up email, action plan, or other format. Poke handles the transformation within the messaging thread, eliminating the need to manually draft emails or extract key points from longer notes.
How the Integration Works
Users connect their Granola and Poke accounts through a simple setup process. Once linked, Poke can access meeting notes directly. A user might text something like "turn my last meeting notes into a follow-up email" or "create a task list from today's standup." Poke processes the request using Granola's structured note data and returns the result in the same chat thread.
The integration works with Granola's existing note structure, which automatically captures key points, decisions, and action items during meetings. Users don't need to format notes differently or tag specific sections for Poke to process them.
Automating Post-Meeting Work
This announcement continues Granola's pattern of connecting meeting notes to downstream workflows. The company recently integrated with HeyGen to generate videos from notes, and launched a checklist feature that converts notes into trackable action items.
Poke represents a different approach: rather than building specific features into Granola's interface, the integration offloads post-meeting tasks to a conversational AI that users can control via text. This keeps Granola focused on note capture while delegating customization and flexibility to Poke's natural language interface.
For teams already using Poke as a central automation hub, the Granola connection adds meeting context to the AI assistant's available data. Users who prefer text-based workflows over clicking through multiple tools may find the approach more efficient than traditional task management interfaces.
Availability
The Granola-Poke integration is live now. Users can connect both accounts through Granola's integrations settings or directly within Poke. The feature works with Granola's Mac and Windows apps, which support major video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
