It’s packed full of value for you the creator
- You can save money
- You can add your product and get attention
- You can piggy back on the viral campaign
For Tony it’s even more valuable
- He can showcase his products front and centre
- He becomes a thought leader in the space and grows his audience
So what’s your ‘Tony’ move.
Here's some ideas
- Literally the same but for a specific vertical Eg. Black Friday deals for busy marketers
- A Black Friday toolkit e.g a directory of templates, best practices, checklist to launch a Black Friday campaign
- An interactive tool to assess your ‘Black Friday readiness’
It doesn't matter if you don't have a product yet as well.
If you can bring value to YOUR community; the product can come afterwards.

- Ycombinator's next cohort is open to applications with some key areas highlighted (Space rockets your thing)
- Config, Figma's industry leading event, is coming to London in 2025. Make May a killer month and go to CreateWith the week after.
- You can now apply to be featured in the Apple App Store. Previously it was very hit and miss how you would arrive there.
- Anthropic's latest model is 4x more expensive. Watch out!
- OpenAI has previewed an 'Operator' feature that can control and communicate with your apps. It's similar to how Claude have done it. It looks insanely good; but won't be public for some weeks.
- Shopify; and ecommerce generally, is performing well. This is good news for builders who want to build on top existing platforms.
- Windsurf, another ai powered IDE (a.k.a. app where you write code) is taking on Cursor. Videos look 🔥
- Momem; a full stack no code web app builder is #1 on Product Hunt
- A new, dev friendly payment provider (E.g Stripe) is in town. It's called Polar.
