Zapier Opens Partner Webinar to Show How 8000+ Apps Can Power AI Assistants

Zapier is hosting a Partner Webinar on March 24 to demonstrate how its ecosystem of over 8,000 supported applications can be integrated into AI assistants, and how partners can embed their products into platforms like Claude and ChatGPT.

The 45-minute session, open to current partners and those exploring partnerships, will cover recent product launches, upcoming features, and actionable guidance for partners looking to expand their integration capabilities. Matt Marum, presenting at the webinar for the first time, will lead the segment on AI assistant integrations.

Bridging Automation and AI Platforms

The webinar addresses a growing need among software companies: making their tools accessible within the AI assistants their customers already use. Rather than requiring users to leave ChatGPT or Claude to access specific applications, Zapier's approach allows partners to surface their functionality directly inside these conversational interfaces.

This builds on Zapier's recent expansion into AI workflows. The company recently integrated with Claude Code via MCP, allowing developers to trigger automations from within their coding environment. The Partner Webinar extends this concept by showing partners how to expose their own applications within AI assistants through Zapier's infrastructure.

For partners, this means potential access to Zapier's entire catalog of connected services. A CRM tool, for example, could leverage Zapier to let users query data, update records, or trigger workflows across thousands of other business applications, all from within an AI chat interface.

What Partners Will Learn

The session will cover:

  • Exposing applications inside AI assistants: How to make Zapier's 8,000+ supported apps available within partner-built AI tools
  • Embedding into Claude and ChatGPT: Technical guidance on integrating partner products into these widely used AI platforms
  • Recent and upcoming product releases: A review of what Zapier has shipped and what's in the development pipeline
  • Implementation strategies: Practical next steps for partners looking to act on these capabilities

The webinar format suggests Zapier is positioning these integrations as a competitive advantage for partners, particularly as AI assistants become more central to how users interact with software. Companies that can make their tools available inside ChatGPT or Claude may gain distribution advantages over competitors that require users to switch contexts.

Zapier's partner ecosystem has historically focused on traditional automation, connecting apps through triggers and actions. This webinar signals a shift toward positioning those same integrations as building blocks for AI-powered workflows, where natural language interfaces replace manual Zap configuration.

The March 24 session is designed for technical and product teams evaluating how to extend their applications into AI environments without building custom integrations for each platform. Registration details are available through Zapier's partner program.

Tanya Van Gastel presents the APEX framework for making products discoverable in AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews. She explains how AI is fundamentally changing product discovery and buyer behavior, then breaks down five critical components: Authority (being cited as a solution), Presence (visibility across search platforms), Expertise (creating high-quality money pages), Endorsements (off-site validation), and Extractability (making content easy for AI to process). The talk emphasizes quality over quantity, with data showing 50% of SaaS SEO revenue comes from fewer than 10 high-performing pages.
