Make Launches Visual Grid to Map and Manage Entire Automation Landscapes
Make has launched Make Grid, a visual workspace that automatically generates a map of an organization's entire automation and AI infrastructure. The feature aims to address a growing pain point: as businesses scale their automation footprints, maintaining visibility and control across hundreds or thousands of workflows becomes increasingly difficult.
Make Grid is available now in beta at no charge to all Make users.
Auto-Generated Maps for Complex Automation Landscapes
Make Grid generates a visual representation of all scenarios, folders, teams, and connected assets within a Make account. According to Make's blog post, the tool is designed to help organizations "see their entire AI and automation landscape" and "visually orchestrate, gather insights, build, and implement change at speed."
The interface lets users drag and resize elements to create custom layouts that match their mental model of the business. Folders, teams, and individual scenarios can be repositioned on the grid, providing a spatial view that traditional list-based dashboards don't offer.

The platform also supports direct editing of connected objects. Users can open and update Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides directly within Make Grid without switching contexts, reducing friction when debugging or adjusting data sources.
Real-Time Collaboration and Cursor Tracking
Make Grid includes live collaboration features that show which team members are active on the grid in real time. Users can follow each other's cursors as they navigate the workspace, similar to collaborative design tools like Figma.
This feature could prove valuable for distributed teams managing shared automation infrastructure, particularly when troubleshooting issues or onboarding new members who need to understand how workflows connect.
Targeting Enterprise Observability Challenges
The launch reflects broader industry movement toward observability tooling as automation scales. Make positions Grid as a solution for enterprise teams dealing with API changes, new application integrations, and evolving AI capabilities.
According to the product page, Make Grid is intended to help teams "drive business alignment" by providing a holistic view of processes, "improve performance" through enhanced analytics, and "scale at speed" with better governance.
This follows Make's recent focus on AI transparency, including updates that embed AI agents directly into the scenario builder and support for the Model Context Protocol.
Availability and Access
Make Grid is currently in beta and accessible to all Make users at no additional cost. The company has not announced pricing for when the feature exits beta. Users can access Grid from their Make dashboard.
The release comes as automation platforms like Zapier and n8n increasingly compete on enterprise features like team collaboration, version control, and workflow observability. Make Grid represents a different approach: rather than adding dashboard analytics, it provides a spatial, interactive view of the entire automation infrastructure.
