MailerLite Launches Native Bookings Feature With Zero Commission Fees

MailerLite has added a native booking system to its email marketing platform, addressing what the company calls its most requested feature from users. The update lets creators and service providers schedule paid sessions, sync calendars, and automate follow-up emails without connecting external scheduling tools.

The new Bookings feature, announced on LinkedIn, integrates directly into the MailerLite dashboard. Users can now sell 1:1 coaching calls, consultation sessions, or group events without paying third-party subscription fees or MailerLite commission on bookings.

Core Capabilities

MailerLite Bookings includes full Google Calendar integration to prevent double bookings across platforms. When someone schedules a session, the system automatically blocks that time in the user's connected calendar.

The platform also supports intake questions during the booking flow. Service providers can add custom fields to collect information before confirming appointments, whether that's project details for consultations or background context for coaching sessions.

Once a booking is confirmed, it can trigger email automation sequences. This connects directly to MailerLite's existing automation builder, which the company recently overhauled with drag-and-drop controls and testing features.

Zero Commission Model

Unlike standalone booking platforms that charge transaction fees, MailerLite takes no commission on paid sessions. Users set their own pricing for 1:1 or group bookings and keep the full amount, minus standard payment processing fees from their connected payment provider.

This positions the feature as a cost-saving alternative for creators already using MailerLite who might otherwise pay for Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, or similar tools. The integration also means fewer platforms to manage, keeping scheduling, payment collection, and email follow-up in a single interface.

The company has been steadily expanding beyond basic email campaigns. Earlier this year, MailerLite introduced custom reports to track campaign revenue and ROI, and integrated AI tools for drafting campaign copy.

Target Use Cases

The feature targets several workflows. Consultants can offer free discovery calls with intake forms that qualify leads before the meeting. Coaches can sell recurring 1:1 sessions with automated reminder emails. Workshop leaders can manage group bookings with capacity limits.

Because bookings tie into MailerLite's subscriber system, users can segment their audience based on who has booked sessions and send targeted follow-up campaigns. Someone who books a free consultation might automatically enter a nurture sequence encouraging them to book a paid package.

The update is available now to all MailerLite users. Full details are available in the official announcement.
