Kajabi Launches Cofounder, an AI Business Strategist That Builds Launch Plans From Your Expertise

Kajabi has launched Cofounder, an AI-powered business planning layer embedded directly into its platform that interviews users about their expertise, generates structured product and pricing recommendations, and guides them through execution.

Unlike general-purpose AI assistants that return generic suggestions, Cofounder is context-aware. It already knows what products exist in a user's Kajabi account, who their audience is, and what offers are live. It uses that data to build specific launch plans tailored to the individual business, then walks users through implementation without leaving the platform.

The feature addresses a common stall point for solo creators and service providers: not content creation, but the strategic decisions around what to build, how to price it, and what to prioritize. Kajabi positions Cofounder as a replacement for hiring a business strategist or launch consultant.

How It Works

Cofounder operates through a conversational interface inside Kajabi. It asks structured questions about a user's knowledge areas, existing audience, and business goals. From those inputs, it surfaces product ideas (courses, coaching programs, memberships), recommends pricing tiers, and maps out a go-to-market sequence.

The system doesn't stop at advice. It generates a step-by-step execution checklist and connects each task to the relevant Kajabi tool, whether that's the course builder, email sequences, or checkout pages. Users can ask follow-up questions, refine recommendations, or request alternative approaches.

Kajabi framed the tool as bridging the gap between ideation and revenue. In the announcement post on LinkedIn, the company said the hardest part of building an online business isn't creating content, but knowing what to build and what to charge. Cofounder is designed to eliminate that uncertainty by making strategic planning executable.

Early Results and Positioning

Kajabi cited one case study in its announcement: a user who went from zero to $54,000 in revenue in 19 days using Cofounder's guidance. The company referred to this user as a "Hero," part of Kajabi's branding around successful creators on the platform. No additional details about the offer type, audience size, or launch mechanics were provided.

The tool is positioned as an alternative to external consultants or co-founders, which Kajabi argues are either too expensive or unavailable for most solo experts. By embedding that guidance into the platform itself, Kajabi is betting that reducing decision friction will accelerate time to first revenue, a critical metric for retention in creator economy platforms.

This isn't Kajabi's first AI feature. The platform has previously rolled out tools for email optimization, lifecycle tracking, and content generation. Cofounder extends that work into strategic planning, an area where AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude provide generic advice but lack platform integration or business context.

Differentiation in a Crowded Market

Cofounder's key differentiator is its access to user data. Because it lives inside Kajabi, it can reference existing products, revenue history, and audience segments when making recommendations. That's different from standalone AI tools, which require users to manually input context and translate suggestions into platform-specific actions.

Kajabi competes with other all-in-one creator platforms like Circle, Mighty Networks, and Skool, many of which have added AI-assisted features. Cofounder shifts the focus from content creation to business strategy, a less saturated area but one that requires more trust from users to follow AI-generated plans.

The company is offering a limited-time promotion: 50% off all plans for six months. Cofounder is available to all Kajabi users, with no separate pricing tier mentioned in the announcement.

For creators stalled on what to build next, Cofounder offers a structured starting point. Whether that guidance translates into consistent revenue growth will depend on how well the AI adapts to different expertise areas and market conditions, but Kajabi is making a clear bet that strategic friction, not content production, is the real bottleneck.
