Framer Agent Adds Pre-Launch Review Workflow to Catch Site Errors Before Publishing

Framer has introduced a new pre-launch workflow that lets users ask its AI agent to review their website before publishing. The feature, announced on LinkedIn, is designed to catch inconsistencies and polish sites in seconds, reducing the need for manual quality assurance and editing.

The Framer Agent, first introduced as part of Framer 3.0, can now be invoked directly from the publishing workflow. Users simply ask the agent to review their page before going live, and it scans for common issues like broken layouts, inconsistent spacing, missing alt text, or style mismatches. The review happens in seconds, with the agent suggesting fixes or applying polish automatically.

This isn't a full accessibility audit or code review. It's focused on the kinds of surface-level issues that often slip through when designers are rushing to launch: misaligned elements, forgotten placeholder text, or components that don't match the site's design system.

How It Works

The workflow is straightforward. Before hitting publish, users can prompt the agent with a simple request like "review my page" or "check for inconsistencies." The agent then analyzes the page structure, visual hierarchy, and content, flagging potential problems. It can also suggest improvements to typography, spacing, or color usage based on the site's existing design patterns.

Framer pointed users to a full lesson in Framer Academy for more details on how to use the feature effectively. The lesson walks through common review scenarios and shows how to get the most out of the agent's feedback.

The feature builds on recent improvements to Framer's AI capabilities. The platform upgraded to Sonnet 5 in June, which improved accuracy from 72% to 90% while reducing credit costs. It also launched Fable 5, a more proactive model that handles creative work like shaders and subtle animations better than previous versions.

Why This Matters

For small teams and solo builders, the review workflow addresses a real pain point: you're often both the designer and the QA tester, which means it's easy to miss errors when you're too close to the work. Having an AI agent catch those mistakes before launch saves time and reduces the risk of publishing something broken or unpolished.

It's also a signal of how AI tools are moving beyond generation and into refinement. Rather than just creating new content or layouts, agents like Framer's are starting to act as collaborators that help you tighten and improve existing work. That's a more practical use case for many builders who don't need AI to design from scratch, but do need help catching the small things that make a site feel finished.

The feature is available now to all Framer users. It's part of the platform's ongoing push to integrate AI more deeply into the design and publishing workflow, following earlier updates like agent-generated brand guides and design page folders for better project organization.
