ElevenLabs Partners With Trainline, Deploys Voice AI Agents for Customer Support

ElevenLabs announced a partnership with Trainline during London Tech Week, deploying voice AI agents to handle routine customer support queries for the UK rail booking platform. The integration allows Trainline customers to call for immediate assistance with booking issues and refunds, eliminating wait times regardless of call volume.

Mati Staniszewski, co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs, shared the news alongside a broader celebration of London-based enterprise customers using the company's voice technology. "Now if you have an issue with your booking or the trains, you will be able to call and get help immediately," Staniszewski wrote in a LinkedIn post highlighting customer deployments across finance, wellness, and software industries.

Enterprise Adoption Across Sectors

Trainline joins a growing roster of companies using ElevenLabs' conversational AI platform. The announcement highlighted several other London-based integrations:

  • Cleo uses ElevenLabs to voice its financial assistant chatbot
  • Fresha builds receptionist agents for wellness salons and spas
  • Fyxer deploys Scribe for context-aware note delivery
  • Attio integrates Scribe to transcribe sales calls for CRM workflows

The Trainline deployment marks a significant enterprise use case for voice agents handling transactional customer support at scale. Rail travelers often face time-sensitive issues with bookings, cancellations, and delays, where immediate automated assistance can reduce friction and support costs.

ElevenLabs has expanded rapidly into enterprise voice applications following its recent Music v2 API launch and continued improvements to its dubbing and avatar products. The company crossed $500M ARR in May 2026, according to its official blog, with investors including BlackRock and NVIDIA.

Voice Agents for Routine Workflows

The Trainline integration demonstrates how companies are deploying voice AI for high-volume, repetitive support tasks. Rather than replacing human agents entirely, these systems handle straightforward refund requests and booking modifications, freeing support teams for complex issues.

ElevenLabs offers two primary products for this use case: ElevenAgents for building conversational voice bots, and Scribe for speech-to-text transcription. The platform supports integration with existing CRM and support systems, allowing companies to route calls based on complexity.

For Trainline users, this means calling a phone number and speaking naturally about booking issues rather than navigating IVR menus or waiting in queue. The voice agent can process refunds, rebook journeys, and provide real-time train status updates, according to Staniszewski's post.

The announcement coincided with London Tech Week and follows ElevenLabs' recent partnership with the UK Government to bring voice AI to public services. The company is expanding its London headquarters as it scales enterprise sales across Europe.

ElevenLabs competes with platforms like Voiceflow in the conversational AI space, though its natural-sounding voice synthesis and emotion preservation features differentiate its offering. The platform supports 90+ languages and has been used for applications ranging from student engagement tools to video dubbing at scale.

The Trainline deployment signals continued momentum for voice AI in customer-facing applications, particularly where speed and availability matter more than nuanced problem-solving. As rail networks face growing passenger volumes and operational disruptions, automated voice support offers a scalable solution for routine inquiries without sacrificing service quality.
