Vercel Connect Lets v0 Apps Reach More Than 100 Services

Vercel is giving apps built with v0 a direct route into the software that businesses already use. Through Vercel Connect, builders can now link v0 apps and agents to more than 100 third-party services, including Slack, Google, Notion, GitHub, and Salesforce.

The update, published in Vercel’s changelog on August 21, 2026, expands what a generated v0 application can do beyond its own interface and database. A task dashboard could connect to Slack, for example, while an internal tool could retrieve or send information through Google, Notion, or Salesforce.

That matters because external integrations are often where a quickly generated prototype turns into a more involved engineering project. Developers typically need to register applications, configure authentication, handle credentials, and write service-specific integration code. Vercel Connect is intended to absorb more of that setup into the platform.

Connections Start With a Prompt

Builders can ask v0 to connect an app to a supported service using a prompt. According to Vercel, v0 then walks the user through setting up the required connector rather than leaving them to assemble the integration independently.

The connectors are owned by a Vercel team, not confined to an individual app. Once a team configures a connector, it can reuse that connection across multiple applications. For a small business building several internal tools, this could reduce repeated authentication work and make it easier to maintain a consistent set of approved service connections.

Vercel also says it handles app registration for some connectors, including Slack and GitHub. App registration is the service-specific process that commonly sits behind OAuth integrations. The announcement does not specify whether Vercel handles registration for every provider, so implementation requirements may still vary by service.

The complete connector catalogue is available through Vercel’s directory of supported services.

What Builders Should Check

The release makes v0 more useful for operational applications and agents, but teams will still need to define what each connection is allowed to do. The short announcement says connections are secure, though it does not provide detailed information about permission scopes, credential controls, audit logs, or administrative policies.

Before adopting a connector, a business should review:

  • Required permissions: Whether the app needs read access, write access, or both.
  • Team ownership: Which Vercel team controls the connector and which applications can reuse it.
  • Provider setup: Whether Vercel handles registration or the business must configure its own third-party application.
  • Data flow: What customer, employee, or company information will move between the v0 app and the connected service.

The larger shift is that v0 is moving beyond generating application interfaces. By pairing generation with reusable service connections, Vercel is positioning it as a way to build software that participates in existing business workflows. The announcement does not detail connector pricing, plan requirements, individual service capabilities, or usage limits, so teams evaluating production deployments will need to verify those points in Vercel’s product documentation.

Frequently asked questions

What is Vercel Connect?

Vercel Connect is a system for linking apps and agents to third-party services. In this update, it allows v0 projects to connect with more than 100 services, including Slack, Google, Notion, GitHub, and Salesforce, using connectors that can be reused across a Vercel team.

How does a builder connect a v0 app to another service?

The builder prompts v0 to connect the app to a supported service. v0 then guides the builder through connector setup. For some services, such as Slack and GitHub, Vercel also handles app registration.

When is the feature available, and what does it cost?

Vercel announced the capability as available on August 21, 2026. Its changelog entry does not state pricing, eligible plans, usage limits, or whether individual third-party services impose additional costs.
