Spline Launches Omma Canvas With 100 Parallel AI Agents for Site Building

Spline has launched Omma Canvas, a new feature that allows users to trigger up to 100 AI agents simultaneously to build websites, web apps, and interactive projects. The update marks a significant expansion of the company's Omma AI platform, which launched in March with support for generating 3D scenes and interactive experiences from text descriptions.

Parallel Agent Architecture

Omma Canvas introduces what Spline calls "massive parallel agent generation," enabling multiple AI agents to work concurrently on different aspects of a project. Users can spin up to 100 agents at once, each handling specific tasks like code generation, 3D modeling, or asset creation. This parallel approach differs from traditional sequential AI workflows where agents complete tasks one after another.

The feature builds on Omma's existing multi-agent system, which already coordinated code, image, and 3D generation agents simultaneously. Omma Canvas expands this capability by allowing users to scale the number of concurrent agents dramatically, potentially accelerating development timelines for complex projects.

Real Site and App Generation

According to the announcement, Omma Canvas is designed to produce production-ready websites and web applications, not just prototypes or mockups. The platform supports modern web technologies including Three.js, Tailwind CSS, and React Three Fiber, giving developers access to industry-standard tools through natural language prompts.

Projects built with Omma Canvas can integrate real data through CSV, JSON, and DOC file uploads, as well as GLB/GLTF 3D models. The platform includes instant deployment with production hosting and custom domain support, allowing users to move from prompt to live URL without manual configuration.

The platform has already demonstrated capabilities ranging from building webcam-controlled dice games to generating RGB sub-pixel grids with custom fragment shaders. With Omma Canvas, users can now generate multiple variations of these projects simultaneously, testing different approaches in parallel.

Positioning in the AI Builder Market

Omma Canvas enters a competitive landscape of AI-powered development tools. Platforms like Lovable, Bolt, and v0 have gained traction by enabling natural language website generation, while tools like Cursor and Windsurf focus on AI-assisted coding.

Spline's approach differentiates itself through deep integration with 3D content creation and the ability to orchestrate large numbers of agents in parallel. The company's background in browser-based 3D design positions Omma Canvas particularly well for projects requiring interactive 3D elements, physics simulations, or WebGPU-powered graphics.

The platform is currently in beta. Users can access Omma Canvas at omma.build, where they can start from scratch or remix projects from the community gallery. Spline has not disclosed pricing details for the new feature.
