Kajabi has quietly rolled out a set of updates aimed at helping creators run their businesses with fewer tools and less friction. The update, promoted on LinkedIn by Kajabi partner Colby Kultgen, centers on three areas: visual automations for personalized funnels, more flexible checkout pages, and expanded community features.
The changes arrive as Kajabi continues its broader push to consolidate the creator stack. Following their launch of Kajabi Capital for embedded financing and Cofounder AI for business intelligence, this update focuses on the operational layer: how creators actually sell, automate, and engage with their audiences.
Visual Automations for Personalized Funnels
Kajabi's new visual automation builder allows creators to design custom workflows without code. Users can now build branching logic based on customer behavior, such as sending different email sequences to buyers who purchase a course versus those who sign up for a free trial.
This puts Kajabi closer to Make or Zapier in terms of flexibility, but keeps the logic native to the platform. For creators managing multiple products or membership tiers, this reduces the need to stitch together third-party automation tools just to handle segmentation or upsells.
The feature is part of Kajabi's Seaside development cycle, which the company detailed in recent updates. Over 90% of the improvements in this cycle reportedly came from direct customer feedback.
Flexible Checkout Pages with Upsells and Payment Plans
Kajabi has also updated its checkout experience. Creators can now add upsells directly on the checkout page, offer multiple payment plans, and customize the design without needing to integrate Stripe payment links or third-party cart tools.
For creators selling courses, memberships, or coaching packages, this means fewer steps between interest and purchase. The update also supports order bumps and one-click upsells, features previously available only through external tools or custom code.

The goal, according to Kultgen's post, is to reduce the number of tools creators need to manage. Instead of juggling ConvertKit for emails, Gumroad for payments, and a separate membership platform, Kajabi wants to handle all three natively.
Community Features for Events and Engagement
The update also expands Kajabi's community tools, adding support for live events and more robust member interaction features. Creators can now host virtual events within their communities, schedule recurring meetups, and create event-specific spaces for discussion.
This positions Kajabi more directly against community-first platforms like Circle and Mighty Networks, which have traditionally focused on engagement and cohort-based learning. For creators who want to blend asynchronous courses with live coaching or group calls, this keeps everything under one roof.
Kajabi's community features still lag behind Skool in terms of gamification and member-driven content, but the platform is clearly investing in closing that gap.
What This Means for Creators
For creators already on Kajabi, these updates reduce friction. Less time switching between tools means more time creating content or coaching clients. For those evaluating platforms, it's another signal that Kajabi is leaning hard into the all-in-one model, rather than positioning itself as a best-of-breed tool in any single category.
The risk, as with any platform trying to do everything, is that individual features may not be as polished as standalone tools. A visual automation builder is useful, but it won't match the depth of Make. Checkout customization is convenient, but it won't rival the conversion optimization of a dedicated cart tool.
Still, for the creator who values simplicity over specialization, Kajabi's approach makes sense. The platform is betting that most creators would rather have 80% solutions across the board than spend hours integrating best-in-class tools.
The updates are live now for all Kajabi users. The company has not disclosed pricing changes or whether any of these features are gated behind higher-tier plans.
