Glide Introduces Team SSO to Simplify Security Across Enterprise Apps

Glide has launched Team SSO, a new paid add-on that allows Enterprise customers to configure Single Sign-On once and apply it across every app in their team. The change eliminates the previous requirement to set up SSO individually for each application.

The company announced on LinkedIn that the feature simplifies security management while reducing costs from a per-app monthly fee to a single flat rate. Team SSO continues to support identity providers including Okta and Azure AD.

Consolidating Authentication Management

Previously, Enterprise teams running multiple Glide applications needed to configure SSO separately for each one. Teams managing dozens of apps faced both administrative overhead and mounting costs under the per-app pricing model.

With Team SSO, authentication is handled at the team level. An Enterprise customer sets up their identity provider integration once, and all apps within that team inherit the configuration. This approach mirrors how larger platforms like Slack and Notion handle authentication for workspace-wide deployments.

Pricing and Availability

Glide has shifted from per-app SSO pricing to a flat fee structure for Team SSO. The company has not disclosed the exact cost but positions it as a cost reduction for organizations managing multiple applications. The feature is available exclusively to Enterprise plan customers and requires contact with Glide's sales team to enable.

The move follows recent updates focused on Enterprise features, including data backups for Big Tables and inline templating for dynamic data.

Impact on Enterprise Deployments

For IT administrators, the update addresses a common pain point in no-code platform adoption: maintaining consistent security policies across a growing portfolio of internal tools. As teams build more apps to handle operations, procurement, and field work, centralized authentication reduces both complexity and risk.

The feature supports standard SAML-based identity providers, allowing organizations to enforce existing authentication policies, multi-factor requirements, and user provisioning workflows without additional per-app configuration.

Enterprise customers interested in enabling Team SSO can reach out to Glide's sales team through the company's contact page.
