Lovable Takes AI Coding to Telegram
Lovable has launched a Telegram bot that lets users build and manage software projects directly through the messaging app. The integration, announced on LinkedIn, positions the chat interface as a mobile companion for developers who want to coordinate work without opening the full Lovable web app.
Users can now message Lovable in Telegram to kick off tasks, manage multiple projects, request code insights, or start new builds. The company describes the experience as talking to a teammate, extending Lovable's conversational interface beyond its browser-based product.
This is the latest in a series of moves to make AI-assisted development more accessible. Lovable recently launched iOS and Android apps in late April, and earlier this year added features like payments integration and Wiz security scanning directly into the workflow.
Why Telegram for Code Collaboration
The Telegram integration addresses a specific use case: developers who want to manage projects while away from their desk. Rather than forcing users to context-switch into the full Lovable interface, the bot allows quick interactions through a messaging app many teams already use for coordination.
Lovable frames the bot as an "on-the-go" interface, suggesting it's designed for lightweight tasks like checking project status, asking questions about code, or spinning up new builds rather than full development sessions. The company did not detail which Lovable features are available through Telegram versus the web app.
The move mirrors patterns in other developer tools. Bolt, v0, and Cursor all center chat-based workflows, but have largely kept those experiences inside dedicated interfaces. Bringing the assistant into an existing messaging platform could lower friction for teams that already coordinate work in Telegram.
What This Means for Vibe Coding
Lovable's Telegram bot is part of a broader trend in AI development tools: meeting users where they already work. By plugging into Telegram, Lovable sidesteps the need to build yet another native mobile app or force users to check a separate dashboard.
The integration also signals how "vibe coding" tools are evolving. Early platforms focused on chat-to-code generation in isolated environments. Now the industry is pushing toward ambient assistance, where AI development help lives alongside team communication, project management, and other coordination layers.
For Lovable users who build internal tools or side projects, the Telegram bot could make it easier to iterate asynchronously. A founder running between meetings could message the bot to update a feature; a designer could ask for a UI tweak without opening a laptop.
No word yet on whether Lovable plans similar integrations for Slack or Discord, though Telegram's bot API and developer-friendly culture make it a logical first choice. The company has not disclosed usage metrics or rollout details, but the feature appears available to all Lovable users starting this week.
