Lovable Adds Secrets Overview Dashboard to Security Center

Centralized Secrets Management Across Projects

Lovable has launched a secrets overview dashboard within its Security Center, giving developers a consolidated view of API keys, tokens, and credentials across every project in their workspace. The update, announced on LinkedIn, addresses a common problem for teams managing multiple applications: losing track of which secrets exist where and whether they should still be active.

The new dashboard supports sorting by age and filtering by project, making it easier to spot credentials that have been sitting unused for months or to audit secrets across a specific subset of applications. For teams running dozens of prototypes or client projects, this kind of visibility can prevent security incidents before they happen.

Security Center Expands Beyond Secrets

The secrets overview is the latest addition to Lovable's Security Center, which already provides scanning for dependency issues, database misconfigurations, and code analysis. Unlike many security tools that charge per scan or per project, Lovable lets users scan and fix issues within the Security Center without consuming any credits from their plan.

This approach fits with Lovable's broader push into enterprise-grade security features. The platform recently introduced live penetration testing powered by Aikido AI, giving developers on-demand vulnerability assessments without leaving their workspace.

Why This Matters for Vibe Coding

For a platform built around natural language development, where users can spin up full-stack applications through chat, secrets management is critical infrastructure. The faster teams can build, the easier it becomes to lose track of what credentials are floating around in which projects. A single pane of glass for secrets reduces the friction of staying secure without slowing down iteration.

Lovable's focus on security tooling also signals its ambitions beyond prototyping. As more non-technical founders and product managers use the platform to build production applications, features like centralized secrets management and automated security scanning become table stakes rather than nice-to-haves.

The secrets overview is available now to all Lovable users across Free, Pro, and Business plans. Teams can access it through the Security Center in their workspace dashboard.

AI Lets You Build Everything—Here’s Why You Still Never Launch

Tom Wesolowski, owner of NoCodeRefactoring.com, delivers a conference talk exposing how AI's ability to build anything has created a new problem: chronic overbuilding that prevents launches. Using a real marketplace project as a case study, he demonstrates how an 80% scope reduction transformed a stalled four-month development into a revenue-generating product launched in two weeks. The talk provides a practical framework for identifying the minimal viable customer loop and postponing everything else until real user demand validates the need.
