Lovable Adds HeyGen Connector for AI Avatars and Personalized Video

Lovable has launched a HeyGen connector, allowing developers to integrate AI avatars, personalized video, and voiceovers directly into applications built on its platform. The integration was announced on LinkedIn on May 28.

The connector enables Lovable users to embed HeyGen's video generation and voice synthesis capabilities without leaving the platform's chat-based interface. Developers can now add avatar-based video content and AI-powered narration to their apps, expanding creative and automation possibilities for customer-facing tools, training materials, marketing campaigns, and personalized user experiences.

This marks Lovable's 50th connector since launching its integration platform six months ago. The platform has scaled from zero to 50 connectors at a pace of roughly two new integrations per week, covering everything from database services to AI video tools.

How the HeyGen Integration Works

The HeyGen connector lets developers access HeyGen's core features through Lovable's natural language interface. Workspace admins and owners can configure the connector from the platform's app connectors menu, then use it to build workflows that generate personalized videos, create AI avatar presentations, or add voiceovers to existing content.

Typical use cases include onboarding videos that address users by name, product demos with AI presenters, training modules with consistent virtual instructors, and automated video responses for customer service workflows. The integration handles video rendering and voice synthesis on HeyGen's infrastructure, while Lovable manages the application logic and user interface.

Developers building with Lovable can now combine HeyGen's capabilities with other recent integrations. Last week, the platform added Algolia for search, LinkedIn for social posting, and Microsoft SharePoint for document management. The growing connector library lets teams assemble multi-service applications through conversational prompts rather than traditional API integration.

Expanding the No-Code Video Stack

The HeyGen addition continues Lovable's push into multimedia and content generation tools. The platform already supports integrations with ElevenLabs for voice cloning and text-to-speech, giving builders options for different audio and video production workflows.

Lovable's connector strategy focuses on tools that automate creative production, data operations, and user engagement. Recent additions span enterprise platforms like Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise, security tools like Wiz, and specialized services for SEO, analytics, and communication.

The company has also been improving its core agent capabilities. Earlier this week, Lovable introduced subagents that handle research, exploration, and project search tasks in parallel while the main agent continues building. The subagent system helps Lovable manage complex projects and reduces wait times when developers request features that require background work.

Workspace admins can configure the HeyGen connector through Lovable's connectors menu. The integration is available now for all Lovable users with appropriate workspace permissions.

AI Lets You Build Everything—Here’s Why You Still Never Launch

Tom Wesolowski, owner of NoCodeRefactoring.com, delivers a conference talk exposing how AI's ability to build anything has created a new problem: chronic overbuilding that prevents launches. Using a real marketplace project as a case study, he demonstrates how an 80% scope reduction transformed a stalled four-month development into a revenue-generating product launched in two weeks. The talk provides a practical framework for identifying the minimal viable customer loop and postponing everything else until real user demand validates the need.
