Jotform Launches Claude App for Conversational Form Management

Jotform announced the release of its Claude App, bringing form creation and management directly into Anthropic's Claude AI assistant through conversational commands.

The new integration allows users to describe forms in plain language and have Claude build them automatically, update existing forms without starting from scratch, and filter submission data for insights. The app extends Jotform's recent push into AI-powered workflows, following their initial Claude integration earlier this year.

Building Forms Through Conversation

The Claude App handles three core workflows. Users can create new forms by describing their requirements in natural language, such as "build a customer feedback form with rating scales and comment fields." Claude interprets the request and generates a working form structure.

For existing forms, the app supports iterative editing without rebuilding. Users can request changes like "add a file upload field" or "reorder the questions," and Claude modifies the form accordingly. The app also enables submission filtering, letting users query data with prompts like "show me responses from the last week where satisfaction was below 3 stars."

Jotform emphasized the Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities in its announcement, though specific technical details about the implementation were not disclosed. The company framed MCP as enabling more sophisticated conversational workflows that go beyond simple form generation.

Integration With Broader AI Strategy

The Claude App follows Jotform's pattern of embedding its form platform into popular AI tools. The company previously launched a ChatGPT integration and partnered with Canva to create an AI agent for design workflows. The Claude App extends this approach to Anthropic's ecosystem.

Jotform also released supporting materials including a tutorial and webinar to demonstrate use cases. The company positions the app as part of a longer-term vision for AI-driven form management, where users can handle end-to-end workflows through conversation rather than traditional interfaces.

The app is available now through Claude's app marketplace. Jotform has not disclosed pricing details or whether the integration requires specific Jotform subscription tiers. Users interested in testing the conversational form workflows can access the app directly within Claude's interface.

As form builders increasingly adopt AI capabilities, Jotform's move reflects a broader shift toward natural language interfaces for productivity tools. Competitors like Typeform and Tally Forms have yet to announce comparable Claude integrations, though both offer AI-assisted form creation through their own platforms.

Jotform's announcement signals continued investment in making form management more accessible through conversational AI, particularly for users who prefer describing workflows over configuring interfaces manually.
