ElevenLabs Launches Korea Operations With Broadcasting and Gaming Partnerships

ElevenLabs Expands Into Korea With Local Team and Enterprise Partnerships

ElevenLabs announced the official launch of its Korea operations this week, establishing a local team in Seoul and signing partnerships with major broadcasters and enterprises. The move positions Korea as a regional hub for the company's voice AI research and agent platform development in Asia.

The voice AI platform has signed partnerships with Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), ESTsoft, KRAFTON, and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) to deploy conversational AI across media, gaming, and enterprise workflows. ElevenLabs cited Korea's technology infrastructure and fast-moving market as key factors in the expansion.

Agent Platform Deployed for Real-Time Korean Language Support

At the center of the Korea launch is the ElevenLabs Agent Platform, which enables products and services to conduct natural voice conversations with sub-500ms latency. The platform supports multilingual interactions and is being used by the Korea partners to automate customer support, localize content, and scale voice-based workflows.

The company's research team will work locally on Korean language models and voice synthesis. Korea represents one of the most linguistically complex markets for voice AI due to honorifics, contextual phrasing, and tonal nuances in spoken Korean. ElevenLabs has not disclosed technical specifics on model training but emphasized the importance of local research for accuracy.

Broadcasters MBC and SBS plan to use the platform for content localization and accessibility features, including real-time dubbing and voice cloning for archived media. KRAFTON, the gaming publisher behind PUBG, is exploring conversational AI for in-game NPCs and customer service automation. ESTsoft, a software and AI company, will integrate ElevenLabs voice models into enterprise products.

Korea Joins Growing List of Regional AI Expansions

The Korea launch follows ElevenLabs' broader enterprise push. In February, the company raised a $500M Series D at an $11 billion valuation, with investor interest focused on its agent platform and enterprise deployments. Recent customer announcements include Klarna, which reported a 10X reduction in time to resolution using ElevenAgents, and Revolut, which selected the platform for multilingual customer support.

ElevenLabs also announced on-premise and on-device deployment options in April, targeting regulated industries and enterprises requiring data sovereignty. The Korea partnerships appear focused on cloud-based deployments, though ElevenLabs has not ruled out local hosting for government or financial services clients.

The company has steadily expanded its creative and enterprise product lines over the past year. In January, ElevenLabs launched pre-built templates to simplify audio and video production workflows, and integrated FLUX.2 image generation for 4MP AI visuals. Those features complement the agent platform, which has increasingly been positioned as ElevenLabs' enterprise revenue driver.

Korea's AI market is competitive, with local players like Naver and Kakao investing heavily in conversational AI and LLMs. ElevenLabs will need to prove differentiation in voice quality, latency, and language support to compete with homegrown solutions. The partnerships with established broadcasters and enterprises provide distribution and credibility, but long-term traction will depend on performance in Korean-language edge cases and enterprise requirements.

ElevenLabs has not disclosed financial terms of the partnerships or Korea market revenue targets.
