ElevenLabs Expands Audiobook Library
ElevenLabs announced on LinkedIn that it has added more than 200,000 premium titles to ElevenReader, its AI-powered audiobook and text-to-speech app. The expanded catalog includes bestsellers from leading publishers and is available to subscribers for $11 per month.
The announcement marks a significant expansion of ElevenReader's content library. For the monthly fee, users receive 20 hours of premium audiobook listening across more than a dozen languages, plus unlimited text-to-audio conversion for personal documents, PDFs, and articles.
ElevenReader now offers narrator voice customization for select titles, allowing listeners to personalize their audiobook experience. This feature leverages ElevenLabs' core voice synthesis technology to give users control over how content is narrated.

Pricing and Platform Features
The $11 monthly subscription bundles premium audiobooks with ElevenReader's existing text-to-audio capabilities. Users can convert written content from various sources into spoken audio in multiple languages, making the platform useful for both entertainment and productivity.
While ElevenLabs did not disclose which publishers are included in the 200,000-title catalog, the company emphasized that the selection features bestsellers and popular titles. The multilingual support extends beyond English to more than a dozen language options.
The narrator voice selection feature represents a departure from traditional audiobook platforms, where narration is fixed. By applying AI voice technology, ElevenLabs enables listeners to choose from different voice profiles for compatible titles, though the company has not specified how many titles support this customization.
Broader Platform Momentum
The ElevenReader expansion comes as ElevenLabs continues to scale its broader platform. The company recently crossed $500 million in annual recurring revenue and raised a $500 million Series D at an $11 billion valuation in February 2026.
ElevenLabs has been diversifying beyond its original text-to-speech and voice cloning tools. In recent months, the company launched speech engine capabilities to convert chat agents into voice agents, rolled out free Pro access for educators, and deployed voice AI in healthcare and automotive applications.
The audiobook push positions ElevenLabs in a market dominated by established players like Audible and Google Play Books. By combining a large catalog with AI-powered customization and document conversion, the company is attempting to differentiate on flexibility and voice technology rather than competing solely on content depth or pricing.
