About this event

Join AI Tinkerers DC Metro on February 24, 2026 for live demos and deep-dive technical discussions in Washington, DC, focused on agentic AI workflows, LLM orchestration, and production-ready AI tooling.

What you’ll get

  • A code-first, high-signal meetup where builders share real systems, not sales pitches. Expect hands-on demos and open discussions about what actually went into building AI-powered workflows.
  • Live Demos: 10-minute show-and-tells that emphasize how a project was built, not just the final result. See architectures, trade-offs, and hard lessons from live experiments.
  • Technical Depth: sessions exploring agentic workflows, LLM orchestration, and frontier models, with hands-on context on how these ideas are being put into production.
  • Curated Networking: connect with practitioners who are actively shipping AI into production. Attendance is limited to active builders to ensure meaningful conversations.

Call for Demos We’re actively seeking presenters for this session. If you’re working on a technical AI project, experiment, or hack, we want to see it. Demos are strictly 10 minutes and should focus on how you built something interesting. No pitch decks—just raw, valuable technical insight. Potential topics include UI-Skills integration, real-time speech-to-speech models, or complex agentic orchestration. Submit your proposal to share the engineering story behind your project.

Sponsors & venue IDJC is a collaboration between Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
