About this event
AI in Production 2026 is a practical conference in Newcastle for AI and ML practitioners, focused on how AI works in day-to-day environments rather than theory. Taking place on 4 and 5 June 2026 at The Catalyst in Newcastle Upon Tyne, this event brings together data scientists, engineers, analysts, researchers, and technical leaders to learn from real-world projects and deployments. The programme is split into two streams so you can follow what’s most relevant to your work, plus hands-on workshops on day 1 and a full conference day on day 2.
What to expect:
- Engineering Stream: deployment, monitoring, scaling, infrastructure, and the ongoing work required to keep AI systems running in production.
- Machine Learning Stream: model development, evaluation, responsible data use, and lessons from applied ML across industries.
- Open, practical discussions across both days about what teams tried, what worked, what failed, and what they learned along the way.
- Hands-on Workshops (Thursday 4 June): a day of practical, guided tasks led by the Jumping Rivers team, with time for Q&A as you progress.
- Conference Day (Friday 5 June): talks begin at 09:30 and run through around 16:15. Attendees can switch between streams or stick with one focus for the day.
- Networking and socials: a relaxed drinks reception from 17:00 to 19:30 on the first day.
